MECHANICAL SYSTEMS
| Mechanical system installations and repairs can be complex and difficult to access. Dockside Marine Service can repair these systems and / or design and install new systems to meet your needs. ENGINES AND GENERATORS Dockside Marine Service provides engine and genset service and repairs, engine and genset re-powers and upgrades. If your vessel currently doesn't have genset power on board, Dockside Marine Service can evaluate your power requirements and design and install the system to allow comfort while cruising and those nights at anchor when air conditioning or heating could be required. AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING AC and heating systems, related pumps and equipment, refrigeration systems including engine driven, battery powered or AC powered units can be designed, installed, serviced and repaired. STEERING AND DRIVE LINE Steering systems, drive line systems, alignments, shaft and bearing replacements, prop installation and removal, dripless shaft log service, installation or replacement and stuffing box repack can be installed, serviced and repaired FUEL SYSTEMS Fuel system components, including fuel water separators, fuel lines, polishing systems, selector manifolds and tank replacements can be designed, installed serviced and repaired. FLUID SERVICE SYSTEMS Oil changing systems, including manifolds to select engines,genset even transmissions can be installed to the system for convenience. ENGINE SURVEYS Surveys for compression tests, coolant system pressure test, oil analysis service, check oil pressure and water temp readings, engine rpm ranges while under load and no load conditions using photo tach, engine timing, belts, hoses, engine mounts and overall condition of engines can be done for pre-purchase evaluation. Check transmission temperatures and pressures while under load and no load conditions, check mounts and overall condition of unit can be done for pre-purchase evaluation. |
